Sooo sweet. At the end of the day, I asked Em what her favorite part of Christmas was and she said, "When I gave you the bracelet with the jingle bells!" (She picked it out herself and paid $2 for it at the PTA's "Santa Shop" at school.
Looks kind of like this.) Not the presents, not the cookies... none of that. Giving mom a bracelet she picked out was what she most enjoyed about today.
El, however, really takes after his dad. I give you this conversation, from earlier today, as evidence:

(playing with Lego motorcycle guy) My motorcycle has 80 horsepower. That means it goes 80 times faster than a horse!
Em:
MY motorcycle has 7 million thousand five two horsepower!
El: Oh man! I would be
really impressed.... if that was a real number. But it's not. So I'm not.
